Steve Cahillane joined Kellanova, previously Kellogg Company, in October 2017 as President
and Chief Executive Officer. He became Chairman of the Board in March 2018.

Prior to Kellogg, in 2014, Mr. Cahillane assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at The Nature’s Bounty Co., the largest global pure-play manufacturer, marketer and specialty retailer of health and wellness products.

Prior to Nature’s Bounty, Mr. Cahillane spent seven years with The Coca-Cola Company, most recently as President of Coca-Cola Americas, the global beverage maker’s largest business with $25 billion in sales. Prior to Coca-Cola, Mr. Cahillane spent eight years with AB lnBev, the world’s largest brewing company, in various senior leadership roles including Chief Commercial Officer, in which he led commercial strategy, global marketing, sponsorships, innovation and research following the 2004 merger of lnterbrew and AmBev.

Mr. Cahillane serves on the Northwestern University Board of Trustees, The Consumer Goods Forum Board of Directors, the Smithsonian National Board, the Colgate-Palmolive Board of Directors and as co-trustee of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust.

Mr. Cahillane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.

Stephanie Burns, Ph.D., has served as a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since February 2014. Dr. Burns chairs the Audit Committee and also serves on the Nominating & Governance Committee and the Executive Committee.

Dr. Burns served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dow Corning Corporation until her retirement in 2011.

Dr. Burns has significant business insight and experience in global innovation as a result of her long-standing career in scientific research and management. She was instrumental in spearheading Dow Corning’s investments in emerging markets, including China, India, Russia, Turkey and Vietnam.

Dr. Burns served as Dow Corning’s first Director of Women’s Health and is the former Chairman of the American Chemical Council. She served on President Obama’s President’s Export Council and has been on the Forbes magazine 100 Most Powerful Women list for several years.

Dr. Burns currently serves on the Board of Directors for Corning, Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Inc.

Carter Cast joined Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, in June 2017. Mr. Cast serves on the Manufacturing Committee and the Social Responsibility & Public Policy Committee.

Mr. Cast is currently the Michael S. and Mary Sue Shannon Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is also an operating partner for the Pritzker Private Capital organization.

Mr. Cast brings deep experience in the digital arena, previously helping to build and then lead
Walmart.com, as its CEO. Prior to that, he led the launch of the Blue Nile brand, the leading online jewelry retailer. He also has previously served as the Vice President of Product Marketing and Marketing Communications at Electronic Arts. Mr. Cast also has a strong background in consumer packaged goods – he served as the director of marketing at PepsiCo’s Frito Lay division, where he managed the Tostitos, Santitas, Fritos and salsas and dips businesses.

Mr. Cast has a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Roderick Gillum has been a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since February 2019. He serves on the Manufacturing Committee and the Social Responsibility & Public Policy Committee.

Mr. Gillum is currently a principal at Jackson Lewis P.C. where he co-leads the Firm’s Automotive Industry team.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Gillum served as a senior leader at General Motors Company where he was most recently the Vice President, Corporate Responsibility and Diversity. He also rose to serve as the Secretary of the GM Board of Directors.

In addition, Mr. Gillum held executive roles at GM as the Chief Personnel, Benefits and Labor Attorney; Vice President, General Counsel; and Secretary for GM’s Saturn Corporation.

At GM, he provided leadership as a co-leader of the Public Policy Center based in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America where he developed and coordinated global policy positions on safety, trade and government relations.

Prior to GM, Mr. Gillum was an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Gillum has been a trustee of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since December 2006. He previously served as the board chair and more recently as the co-trustee of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust. In addition, he serves on the board at Invest Detroit and Detroit Economic Club and previously chaired the GM Foundation.

Mr. Gillum holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, a Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was also elected a Fellow at the American Bar Association’s College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

G. Zachary Gund has served as a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since December 2014. Mr. Gund chairs the Manufacturing Committee and also serves on the Compensation & Talent Management Committee, the Nominating & Governance Committee and the Executive Committee.

Mr. Gund is a Managing Partner of Coppermine Capital, LLC, a firm he founded in 2001. His work has spanned both the manufacturing and service industries, including food manufacturing. He is Chairman of Coppermine Bakery Holdings, which supplies wholesale baked goods to the convenience store and QSR markets under the Bake Fresh name.

Mr. Gund is the Lead Director at W.K. Kellogg Co. In addition, he is Chairman of Autism Care Partners, a Coppermine portfolio company. He is also a director at Marvel Biome, AssuranceSD and Heat Recovery Innovations.

Mr. Gund received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Donald Knauss has served as a member of Kellanova Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since November 2007. Mr. Knauss is Lead Director and chairs the Nominating & Governance Committee. He also serves on the Audit Committee, the Compensation & Talent Management Committee and the Executive Committee.

Mr. Knauss retired as Executive Chairman of the Board of The Clorox Company, effective July 1, 2015. He had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 2006 to 2014.

Prior to joining Clorox, Mr. Knauss spent 12 years with The Coca-Cola Company. He joined the company in 1994 as Senior Vice President of Marketing for The Minute Maid Company, and, in 1996, was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager for Minute Maid's U.S. retail operations. Beginning in 1998, he served nearly two years managing Coca-Cola's businesses in 10 countries of Southern Africa. In 2000, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of The Minute Maid Company. He became President and Chief Operating Officer of Coca-Cola North America in 2004.

Mr. Knauss previously held a variety of positions in marketing and sales with the Frito-Lay and Tropicana divisions of PepsiCo, Inc. He began his business career as a brand manager in the paper products division at Procter & Gamble. Prior to that, he served as an officer of the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Knauss serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of San Diego and Marine Corps University Foundation. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Target Corporation and McKesson Corporation.

Mr. Knauss has a long-standing commitment to promoting workplace equality and embracing diversity. In 2006, he received The Jackie Robinson Foundation's ROBIE Award for industry achievement.

Mr. Knauss holds a bachelor's degree in history from Indiana University.

Mary Laschinger has been a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since October 2012. Ms. Laschinger chairs the Compensation & Talent Management Committee and serves on the Nominating & Governance Committee and the Executive Committee.

Ms. Laschinger is currently on the Dollar Tree Inc. Board of Directors and member of the Compensation Committee and Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Committee.

Ms. Laschinger served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Veritiv Corporation (NYSE: VRTV) from July 2014 until her retirement in September 2020.

Previously, Ms. Laschinger served as Senior Vice President of International Paper Company from 2007 to July 2014, and as President of the xpedx distribution business from January 2010 to July 2014.

Ms. Laschinger also served as President of the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia business at International Paper from 2005 until 2010.

Prior to joining International Paper in 1992, Ms. Laschinger held various positions in sales, marketing and supply chain at James River Corporation and Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

Ms. Laschinger is a recipient of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Alumni Association’s President’s Award. She was inducted into the 2018 YWCA Academy of Women Achievers and was recognized by the University of Connecticut School of Business as a Distinguished Alumni in 2019.

Ms. Laschinger formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Newmont Corporation and was a former Lead Director of Ilim Group, Russia’s largest pulp and paper company.

Ms. Laschinger holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. She also completed postgraduate studies in executive management at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Erica Mann has been a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since February 2019. She serves on the Audit Committee and the Social Responsibility & Public Policy Committee.

Ms. Mann most recently served as President and Head of Bayer’s Consumer Health Division.

Prior to joining Bayer, Ms. Mann was the President and General Manager of Pfizer Nutrition. She joined Pfizer upon its acquisition of Wyeth where she served as the Senior Vice President of Global Nutrition.

Ms. Mann also had roles of increasing responsibility at other Fortune 500 companies, including Eli Lily & Company and Johnson & Johnson.

In addition to her executive experience in the nutrition and health industry, Ms. Mann has a deep understanding of key global markets. She is a native of South Africa and a citizen of Australia. She has held leadership positions in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.

Ms. Mann chaired the board of the World Self-Medication Industry (WSMI) and held executive positions on the boards of South African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (PMA), Medicines Australia, International Association of Infant Food Manufacturers (IFM) and Perrigo. She currently serves as Independent Director on the DSM-Firmenich and ALS Boards.

Fortune named Ms. Mann to the list of the 50 Most Powerful Women International in 2016 and 2017.

Ms. Mann holds a degree in Analytical Chemistry and a Marketing Management diploma from the Institute of Marketing Management, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mike Schlotman has served as a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since October 2020. Mr. Schlotman serves on the Audit Committee and the Compensation and Talent Management Committee.

Mr. Schlotman was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kroger from September 2015 through December 2019. Before that, he was elected Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in June 2003, and Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2000. Prior to that he was elected Vice President and Corporate Controller in 1995 and served in various positions in corporate accounting since joining Kroger in 1985.

Mr. Schlotman is Chairman of the Board of Connetic Ventures LLC and a member of the Gatton College Accounting Advisory Board. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of Ohio National Financial Services.

Mr. Schlotman received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.

La June Montgomery Tabron is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She joined Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, in February 2014. Ms. Montgomery Tabron chairs the Social Responsibility & Public Policy Committee. She also serves on the Manufacturing Committee and the Executive Committee.

At the W.K Kellogg Foundation, Ms. Montgomery Tabron leads the organization’s work to support thriving children, working families and equitable communities. Since starting her career with the Foundation in 1987, she has been involved in all aspects of its operations, most recently as Executive Vice President for Operations and Chief Financial Officer. Founded in 1930 as an independent, private foundation by breakfast cereal innovator and entrepreneur Will Keith Kellogg, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation is among the largest philanthropic foundations in the United States.

As a community and civic leader, Ms. Montgomery Tabron is a member of the Kalamazoo Chapter of the Links, Incorporated. She also serves on the boards of Battle Creek Community Health
Partners, Bronson Healthcare Group, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America-College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA) and the Upjohn Institute. Ms. Montgomery Tabron is also the chair of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust

Ms. Montgomery Tabron holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She received honorary doctorates from Elms College, Grand Valley State University, Ithaca College, Marygrove College and Union Institute & University. She is also a certified public accountant.

Ms. Montgomery Tabron has received the Bynum Tudor Fellowship at Kellogg College in Oxford, England and the Louis E. Martin Great American Award from The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. She was named among the 50 Most Powerful Women in U.S. Philanthropy by Inside Philanthropy and a Groundbreaker by the New York Times at its annual Dealbook Summit in 2023, and, in 2024, was included in Worth Magazine’s list of 100 Groundbreaking Women.

Carolyn Tastad has served as a member of Kellanova’s Board of Directors, previously Kellogg Company, since December 2015. Ms. Tastad serves on the Manufacturing Committee, the Compensation & Talent Management Committee and the Nominating & Governance Committee.

Ms. Tastad most recently served as Chief Executive Officer, Health Care at Procter & Gamble. In this role, she led the global Health Care business, responsible for sales, profit, selling, innovation, brand-building and supply across P&G’s Oral Care and Personal Health Care businesses, which make up 13% of P&G’s net sales. Previously, she led P&G’s North America business and operations, the company’s largest and most profitable region.

Ms. Tastad began her career in information technology and subsequently moved to sales and general management roles. She has significant acquisition integration experience and has delivered several business model transformations. She has led large multi-category regional businesses and smaller entrepreneurial global businesses. She has held responsibilities at both global and regional levels, living in the U.S., Canada and Switzerland.

Ms. Tastad served on the board and executive committee of the Consumer Brands Association and as board chair for the non-profit Cincinnati City Center Development Corporation.

Carolyn is passionate about gender and intersectional equality in the workplace and the world. She served as executive sponsor for P&G’s Gender Equality citizenship efforts, leading efforts to tackle bias and build a world with equal voice, equal opportunity and equal representation for all individuals.

Ms. Tastad received a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
